New details from two rescued victims, Badiyu Hamidu and Saminu Isah, are exposing how deeply organised terrorist operations have become inside the Kainji Forest Reserve.

According to their account, at least 10 trucks loaded with food items like grains and yams were delivered into a camp deep inside the forest.

Victims said they were forced at gunpoint to offload the supplies, showing how civilians are being used as labour to keep operations running while avoiding detection.

They also reported seeing young boys guarding the camps, raising fresh concerns about the use of minors.
Even more telling, the terrorists reportedly claimed locals had been allowed to farm, fish, and carry out activities in the forest before now accusing them of “betrayal” for trying to leave.
Security experts say this points to a shift from cooperation to full control through fear and intimidation.
