“I Told Him I Bedwet Since Birth” — Woman Shares Raw Marriage Story That Sparked Reactions

A woman has gone viral after sharing a deeply personal story about how her marriage began and what convinced her that her husband was the one.

According to her, their relationship started during the lockdown and was long distance. Her husband had already proposed to her over the phone when something unusual happened.

She said one morning, she felt led to tell him a secret she had hidden for years that she had been bedwetting since childhood and it never stopped, even into her 20s.

Confused and embarrassed, she first spoke to her sister, who told her plainly

“If you tell him and he leaves, then he was never your husband. If he stays, then that’s your husband.”

She eventually gathered the courage and told him the truth.

His response surprised her.

He told her it wasn’t a problem and described it as something God would use to show His power in her life.

From that point, she said she was open with him, telling him every time it happened which she described as frequent, sometimes every other night.

They eventually got married, but the situation didn’t stop.

She said even during their early days as a couple, including in hotel stays, the bedwetting continued.

Instead of reacting negatively, her husband reportedly stepped in, washing bedsheets himself, drying them, and even going out of his way to hide it from others to protect her dignity.

She recalled one moment when she broke down in tears, overwhelmed by the situation.

That was when her husband asked her if she was tired of it.

She said yes.

He then prayed for her.

According to her, everything changed after that.

She said the bedwetting stopped completely no incidents the first night, the next, then a week, a month, and eventually years.

She claims it has now been five years without any recurrence.

Sharing the story, she said her point is simple

Marriage should not be built on feelings alone.

In her words, life is too hard to go into it with someone who only “likes you.”

She believes people should look beyond emotions, choosing partners based on strength, support, and what she described as spiritual authority.

According to her, love can grow later but the foundation matters more.

The story has since sparked strong reactions online

Some were moved by the level of support shown by her husband

Others debate her views on marriage, faith, and what truly sustains a relationship.
