🚨🇳🇬 Troops Repel Night Attack On Kwara Military Base, Gun Down Several Bandits

Troops of the Nigerian Army have foiled a coordinated attack on the Gada Military Base in Edu LGA of Kwara State.

The attack happened on April 4 between 7pm and 8pm when a large group of heavily armed bandits stormed the base.

According to reports, the attackers arrived on motorcycles, a common tactic used in such operations.

But soldiers on ground picked up movement early after hearing the sound of approaching bikes and immediately took position.

What followed was a gun battle.

Several of the bandits were shot and neutralized, while the troops held their ground and prevented any breach of the base.

Security sources say the quick response and preparedness of the soldiers made the difference.

Normalcy has since returned to the area, but security operatives remain on alert.
